Stephanie Murran started the Save the Middlewick Ranges Facebook Campaign Group in 2016 following the announcement by the DIO that the Middlewick Ranges was to be sold for housing development.
There are currently 33 active members including representatives of a number of environment groups including En-form; Colchester’s environment Information Centre, Eco Colchester and Extinction Rebellion.

Our media team range from those dealing with social media including a twitter, Instagram and Facebook team, through to individuals that are speaking with local and national papers. The communications team have set up this site as well as a newsletter. With special help from a videographer.

Our conservation and ecology team are made up of reptile, mammal, amphibian and invertebrate experts. With combined experience of 40 years and knowledge & networks in the field allowing them to make critical and credible arguments.
